We have asked our good friend, Robert Renman, to answer some of your questions regarding Hell Guitars. Robert has been playing all three of our models for the better part of a year and can offer a unique perspective on our guitars as a teacher and very talented player. As his time permits, he has agreed to answer as many of your enquiries as he can. Please be patient for a response. We will be posting some of Robert’s responses to questions in this space soon as well.
In the interests of transparency, we would like to explain how our relationship has evolved. We got to know Robert on the guitar forum, thefret.net. In 2011, we met up
at the NAMM show in Los Angeles and rather hit it off. We asked Robert if he would like to try out one of our guitars and give us his opinion. He agreed and told us that if he liked the guitar, he would do an online review for us. Well, he wound up really liking the guitar (a No. 2) so we sent him 2 more models which he also fell for. He has posted favorable reviews of all three models and has featured our guitars in many online lessons since. This was not through any pre-arranged agreement. Robert simply likes playing them. He hadn’t been paid to do so.
We have now contracted Robert to answer a limited number of emails. Our agreement is that he is free to give his honest opinion without direction from us. This is not about sales. It is about providing information in the best ways we can think of as a small company on a small budget. We want to give you the most complete idea possible of what it is like to own a Hell. We think that Robert can be a very important part of this process.
So, do you have a question for Robert? Then send it to: askrobert@hellguitars.com
Please be patient for a response as there is only one of Robert and quite a few of you. He will do his best to get to as many as he can.
